An Emotional Will for the generations who will need it most.
The World We Live In
Families today are more global and fragmented than ever before. Children often grow up with limited time alongside grandparents and elders, missing the stories that carry their family's lived wisdom — struggles, decisions, failures, and victories.
In the absence of this connection, many turn outward for guidance — AI, the internet, or therapy — when much of what they are searching for already exists within their own lineage. Because while life feels complex, most human challenges are shared across generations. The answers often already live in the stories of those who came before us.
"We reconnect people with inherited wisdom that modern life has made inaccessible."

Is This For You?
What Your Loved One Needs To Do
We know what you might be wondering. Will my parent open up? Will they feel comfortable? Will they know what to say?
Here is what we ask of them: nothing more than their authentic voice. They come as they are. They sit back, relax, and simply talk.
We guide every session. We know which questions unlock the stories that matter. We draw out the wisdom, the meaning, the emotion behind each memory. We do the work of a skilled interviewer so they never feel put on the spot.
A warm, unhurried conversation. No preparation needed. No script to follow.
Our questions are designed to gently surface stories they have never thought to tell.
The meaning behind each story. The lesson they lived but never named. We find it.
They never write a single word. Their job is simply to show up and be heard.
A Story From Our Founder
"My mother looked at me and said, 'I am just a housewife. What would I have to share?' I said, 'Let's just talk.' The result was a 120-page Heritage Book that is more precious to our family than any treasure we own."
Not sure your parent will open up? We offer a complimentary introductory call with them before we begin. We'll earn their comfort before we earn their stories.
Who This Is For
You do not have to be famous, powerful, or historically significant to have a story worth preserving. In fact, the most important stories rarely belong to the famous.
A single mother who raised three children while working two jobs has more to teach about resilience than any CEO ever could.
A teacher who shaped hundreds of young minds carries insights no TED talk can replicate.
A farmer who fed a family through drought and debt holds lessons in perseverance no business school can teach.
A parent who chose dignity over bitterness, love over pride, and showed up every single day carries a legacy that deserves to live forever.
Strong moments exist in every life. Your loved one's moments deserve to be honored.
What Makes It Different
A Heritage Book is not simply a biography or collection of memories. It preserves the things that shaped a family across generations.
So future generations don't just know your family history — they understand what your family stood for.
"Every story worth keeping was once just a conversation
no one thought to write down."
The Process
We guide thoughtful conversations with your elders to uncover the stories, lessons, and experiences that shaped your family.
We carefully transform those memories into a beautifully written and curated narrative.
Your stories become a timeless Heritage Book designed to live on for generations.
Your children inherit more than memories — they inherit wisdom, identity, and connection.
Why Echoes Exists
I grew up without my grandparents. I lost my grandfather when I was three, and I never met my grandmother.
Yet somehow, I felt like I knew them deeply. Their values became mine. Their character shaped my own. My sense of right and wrong came from them.
How did that happen? Through stories.
At the dining table. Beside a flickering candle during power outages.
My father and my uncle were incredible storytellers. They shared stories that made my grandparents feel alive to us. Stories about my grandfather, a righteous man who once allowed my aunt to fail an exam, even though he had the authority to pass her, because integrity mattered more than convenience. Years later, she went on to lead that very same department. Stories about my grandmother, who believed education was one of life's greatest responsibilities.
Those stories were never just entertainment. They became my inheritance. They taught me who I was, where I came from, and the kind of person I wanted to become.
Then, I lost my uncle suddenly.
When my father fell ill, the thought consumed me: I need to preserve his stories. Because memories fade. And not every family has a storyteller.
I couldn't. And then I lost my father.
In the grief of that loss, I started noticing the same pattern everywhere. TED Talks. Interviews with cricketers, actors, politicians, athletes. Some of the most accomplished people in the world. And again and again, the same theme — they would talk about their parents. Ordinary people. A mother who worked two jobs. A father who never complained. A grandmother who instilled one non-negotiable value. They gave full credit for who they are to people the world never heard of.
Will I be able to tell his stories the way he told theirs? Will my children know their grandfather the way I knew mine?
That is when I understood: this is not my story alone. This is a universal truth. The values that drive extraordinary lives almost always come from ordinary people. And those people deserve to be remembered.
Echoes is my tribute to the storytellers who shaped my life.
It exists because I believe the stories of our elders become our guiding light, our moral compass, and the quiet source of pride that comes from knowing we come from good people.
So Echoes becomes that storyteller. We preserve the stories so they are never lost. We craft Heritage Books so future generations inherit more than memories. They inherit values, character, resilience, and a deep connection to where they come from.
Because every child deserves to know the stories of the people who shaped their family, even if they never had the chance to meet them.
A Legacy Future Generations Can Hold
Every Heritage Book preserves the moments that shaped your family — the decisions, the sacrifices, the values that made them who they are.
At 68 years old, most people would think twice about an 18-hour train journey alone. But when tradition called, when family needed someone to be present, I didn't hesitate.
I left Delhi at dawn and traveled through the day and night to reach our ancestral village. My body ached. The train was crowded. But this was about honoring my mother's memory, about showing my family that some things matter more than comfort.
When I arrived and saw my relatives' faces — surprised, moved that I had come so far — I knew I'd made the right choice. This is what our family does. We show up. Even when it's hard. Even when no one would blame us for staying home.
What I Want You to Remember
Commitment to family and tradition, even when difficult
The advocate offered me a partnership. Good salary. Steady work. But there was a condition I couldn't accept — cases would be won through means I didn't believe in. I refused.
I walked away from that office with nothing. No job. No prospects. Just my principles.
The very next day, my father handed me an envelope. Five thousand rupees. In 1982, that was a fortune. He didn't ask questions. He simply said, "Start your business properly."
